The Dutch braid is one of my favorites. It is very similar to a French braid but backward so it's a little tricky to get the motion down, but once you have it down, you might think it's even easier than a French braid. First, I want to show you the difference in the way a French and a Dutch braid look.
The way to begin a Dutch braid is to take the section of hair you want to braid and divide it into three equal sections. You ca start it anywhere in the head. Do achieve the look above you would start in the middle of the head along the hairline of the face.
